Exceptionally stable servo architecture
The Shanling EC Zero T benefits from a meticulous design using an active magnetic fixing system to continuously adjust the pressure on the disc, offering exceptional stability during rotation and greatly reducing the noise caused by CD vibrations. In addition, the EC Zero T is equipped with an anti-shake system so that you can follow it everywhere without the risk of the CD jumping, plus a playback head with a gapless function.
DAC R2R
For its digital/analogue conversion stage, the EC Zero T opts for an R2R ladder resistor network, using a total of 192 resistors in a 24-bit architecture to deliver the finest possible sound reproduction. In addition, this CD player features a NOS (Non-Oversampling) and OS (Oversampling) mode, allowing you to personalise your listening experience to suit your tastes.
Power tube amplification
The EC Zero T's amplification stage is based on a pair of TPA6120 OPA coupled to JAN6418 power tubes, renowned for their compact size, low power consumption and operating stability. The use of power tubes provides warm, soft sound reproduction, but if you want a more neutral reproduction with more pronounced dynamics, a transistor amplification mode is also available.
5500mAh battery
To keep you on the move, the EC Zero T is equipped with a 5500mAh battery capable of providing 8 hours of uninterrupted listening when used via the 3.5mm jack output, and up to 20 hours when used via Bluetooth. It's easy to recharge using the USB-C port.
Extensive connectivity
Thanks to its wide choice of connectors, the EC Zero T is capable of integrating a large number of different configurations. In addition to 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs, this CD player also has 3.5mm and 4.4mm line outputs and an optical coaxial SPDIF output. In addition, the EC Zero T incorporates Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity supporting aptx Adaptive, aptx and SBC protocols. This wide choice of connections means you can use it directly with headphones or earphones, wireless or not, or integrate it into a more complex audio system and connect it directly to a power amplifier or DAC.
